The Olympic Hopefuls of Brooklyn College Ballroom Dance Team and the NYU Ballroom Dance Team hosted the Gotham City Dancesport Challenge. We were proud to have competitors in every level from Pre-Bronze to Pre-Champ. Congratulations to all the participants!

The Once Upon A Time Dance Social was hosted by the BC Ballroom Dance Society & Russian Jewish Club on Monday, December 12th, 2011 at BC Hillel. Free dancing, free performances, and (most importantly) free food!

CUTE Fall 2011 Competition
OHBC Dance Team and BCBDS Dance Club hosted the CUTE Fall 2011 Beginners Class Ballroom Competition on Sunday, December, 11th at Brooklyn College WQ205. The beginner ballroom classes at Brooklyn College showed off what they've learned, and the winners of both Smooth and Rhythm went to John Tao and Angelina Radionova. Congratulations to all participants!

CUTE Spring 2011 Competition
OHBC Dance Team and BCBDS Dance Club hosted the CUTE Spring 2011 Beginners Class Ballroom Competition Sunday, May 15th at Brooklyn College WQ205. All three beginner classes battled for ballroom supremacy, but in the end Miles Butler and Caitlin Huber took home top awards for Smooth and Rhythm. Congrats to them and all the other participants!

Rutgers 2011
This time we crossed the Hudson and did battle at the 12th Annual Rutgers DanceSport Competition. The final ribbon tally was not too shabby for our last collegiate competition of the school year. See results of our team in the Competition Results section.

OHBC wowed the audience with their ballroom rendition of the King of Pop medley at the Annual Brooklyn College Dance Showcase - this year themed "DanceSpeak".

Our next generation newcomers brought home a few colorful ribbons, and our veterans did not disappoint with their share of ribbons at the 20th Annual Harvard Invitational Ballroom Competition. See results of our team in the Competition Results section.

MIT Open 2011
OHBC brought home a rainbow of ribbons and shiny trophies at the 2011 MIT Open Ballroom Competition for Bronze, Silver, and Gold levels in all four styles of dance, besting many ivy league schools. Way to represent Brooklyn!! See results of our team in the Competition Results section.

Next Dance Social scheduled for Monday, March 28, 2011 in SUBO 5th Floor Occidental Lounge 6:30pm-9:00pm. Free food, entertainment, and open dance floor.
